Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about CargoConnect.
- How do I create an account?
- Click "Sign Up" on the homepage, choose your role (Company or Driver), and fill in the required information. You'll receive a verification email to activate your account.
- Is CargoConnect free for drivers?
- Yes! Drivers pay no fees to use CargoConnect. You receive 100% of the listed load price. The 8% platform fee is paid by companies.
- How does the pricing work?
- Companies set the load price that drivers will receive. An 8% platform fee is added on top for companies. For example, a €1,000 load costs the company €1,080, and the driver receives the full €1,000.
- How are drivers and companies verified?
- Drivers must provide their licence number and complete identity verification. Companies must provide business registration details. All users are reviewed before activation.
- How do I get paid as a driver?
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Once a delivery is confirmed by both parties, the full agreed load price is transferred directly to your Stripe account. The 8% platform fee is billed separately to the company — you always receive the amount you agreed to.
- What happens if there's a dispute?
- We encourage users to resolve issues directly. If needed, CargoConnect offers a mediation service. Contact support@cargo-connect.gr with relevant documentation.
- Can I cancel an accepted load?
- Cancellations should be avoided as they affect your reliability rating. If you must cancel, contact the other party immediately and notify CargoConnect support.
- How do ratings work?
- After each completed delivery, both parties can rate each other (1–5 stars). Ratings are displayed on profiles and help build trust in the marketplace.
- What vehicle types are supported?
- We support all major European vehicle types: Dry Van, Flatbed, Refrigerated, Tanker, Curtainsider, Box Truck, Mega Trailer, Lowbed, Container Chassis, and Walking Floor.
